Q: Is electricity necessary to run a LOBSTER ball machine? A: All Pneumatic Models require electricity to operate, but they can also be run off of a generator (1200-1400 Watts). It is always a good idea to check your local court for power outlets before purchasing any ball machine. Most courts these days supply electricity. Q: What kind of battery does the Elite Model run on? A: The battery operated machine, the Elite Model, does require electricity for charging the battery inside. That is the only time it does. The machine will run on that battery power on the court. Q: How noisy are the Pneumatic machines? (Models 101, 201, 301, 401) A: The sound level that the machines give off is similar to that of a vacuum cleaner. Indoor tennis will amplify the sound, but if used outside, the noise level is greatly reduced. Most users find that the sound made by the machine as it prepares to lob the next ball helps you anticipate the shot. |
